NOVA Open 2011 - Pre-Registration and Tentative Date Announcement

Well, we're about closed in on the date.

The likely venue is looking to be HERE

The likely date for all events will be Thursday, August 25 - Sunday, August 28, 2011

There are a lot of details we're still working through, but registration for the 40k NOVA Open GT is probably going to fill at a rather extreme rate.  I'm only going to start with an offering of 128 slots, and won't open more unless we have a substantial wait list past that - so, here's your first note.

If you would like to pre-register, i.e. get on the "first dibs" wait list for the NOVA Open 2011, send an e-mail to mvbrandt@gmail.com

We'll be finalizing event location, and working on getting up an actual registration process, within the next month or two.  If we go with this particular one, you'll be looking at a crazy affordable rate somewhere in the $100/night range, approximate to the Holiday Inn for the original Open, and competitively cheaper than most other comparable events.

  2. Gotcha Ed/Eddy

Interestingly, I already have 20 pre-registrations. So, not only an interesting feedback on blog readership, but ... 128 is going to fill fast :-/

  3. WTF people? Now just past 40 pre-registrations. This doesn't mean all these people will actually register, and I'll announce pre-reg elsewhere shortly as well, but effectively those who pre-register will be given some pre-release time to fully register and secure a slot, before the main webcart for the 40k GT opens.

  6. Looks like you are going to have to work faster there Mike. Nearly 1/3 of the first 128? Sweet. Remember to remind folks that there will also be Warhammer Fantasy, and Malifaux and War Machine. At least that is the plan. It would be nice to have attendance worries resolved ASAP. And Mr Kazzual, no touching big red buttons eh. Ya never know which one nukes the...[oh are those black helicopters I hear...gotta go.]

  7. Just had a browse through the hotel website. The place looks great. NOVA 2011 is looking to be one of the 40k highlights of next year.
